Home & About us

Esperanza4U was founded in April 2007 by Elia Gutierrez and Manu Seyfzadeh. The charity is a purely private, we are not affiliated with any religious group or other charity.

Our Mission is to empower children, families, and individuals who  grow and live under inhumane conditions. We are currently focused on Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. In less than 5 years, we have mobilized a sizable support group through internet channels such as facebook/twitter and e-mail contacts as well as personal friends and family.

In 2007 we constructed a solar power generator system on the roof of the Rosarito orphanage in collaboration with an Ohio church group. Headed by solar contractor and minister, Allen Rainey, making this one of the very few orphanages in the world running on alternative energy.

We have provided food to over 1000 people with a single trip in the surrounding colonies of Tijuana and the landfill called "El Dompe" all just in 1 day. We have provided medical care to children and adults at Tijuana orphanages and neighboring communities with medications sponsored by major drug companies.

The great success of this newborn charity shows that regular people can have great impact on the world we live in, simply by reaching out and taking action. We have also shown that people of all aspects of life step up to the plate and with great compassion and initiative will donate their time and money to help.

Please remember to "Help those, who can't help themselves"
